Defendant says she does not owe her for the bond since plaintiff signed for it. Parties were best friends, plaintiff says defendant is a professional shoplifter, she went to jail for burglary, while on probation, violated her probation; also says that she did not ask plaintiff to pay for the bail, she asked her to be a cosigner. Plaintiff claims that defendant is out partying, spending money, as shown in Court, and refuses to pay the bond, therefore she is going to have to pay it. Defendant claims they never discussed how the bail was going to be paid, she says she does not owe anything to plaintiff as she has not made any payments yet; defendant is worried she could go to jail if defendant does not pay. Counterclaim: Defendant says plaintiff went to her job to fight her. They went outside an got into a physical altercation. Showed police report in Court, which was not in her favor after all. Dismissed. Ruling: Defendant to pay $2837 to plaintiff; plaintiff to pay the bond with that money that way she is sure it it paid.
