Plaintiff claims defendant terminated their relationship without notice and with no valid reason, she claims she is low income and defendant refused her service because she was paying with subsidized money, she also claims she could not work for 2 days because she was looking for another daycare for her children, claims she lost $500; the Judge pointed out that if she makes $500 in 2 days, she is making $6000 a month, that looks like fraud if she is receiving public assistance. She presented a breakdown for her lawsuit with expenses not related to the defendants, per Judge Brown. Defendant claims that even though her daycare is 234 hrs, clients must give notice, she never did, she would call whenever, and because she had to leave the spot open and she was not reliable she lost income.
