Parties had a written agreement where plaintiff loaned defendant $10,000.00 to buy a car, gave her $500 as a down-payment, and defendant was going to make payments for $150 a month, plus $150 for the car insurance. Plaintiff claims that at some point defendant defaulted the payments, so she repo the car, sold it, but there is still a deficit, which is what she is suing for. After reviewing the terms of the contract, Judge Judy found that the repo was illegal, and believes the plaintiff acted in retribution of the ex boyfriend for breaking up with her.
