Parties used to be good friends, met in College. plaintiff claims she offered defendant to live with her while he was going through difficult times, got an DUI, into drugs, ended up in hospital, almost lost his leg because he was shooting heroine into it; lost his girlfriend, lost everything, she tried to help him get back to his feet. Defendant admits all of the above, says he did go through all that, learned a lot, changed completely. Plaintiff claims that they had an agreement that he will pay her back once he get back to his feet, she admits he said over a year ago that eventually he was going to pay her, but he never did.
