Defendant claims they were a couple at the time, she told him he did not have to pay her back. Plaintiff claims the original loan was for $2000, he paid her back $500; she told him to pay the rest little by little, as they were still dating. He wrote a contract and signed it, with no dates for the payments, they wrote this contract after they broke up, defendant admits he signed the contract. Defendant claims he tried to pay her back several times.
