Plaintiff claims they were out drinking, got in the car, defendant was driving, they were pulled over, she decided she was going to say she was driving in order to protect defendant., also says they hired a lawyer for both of them, the lawyer advised them not to change their statement as they could both go to jail for perjury, they assured her they would pay for everything. She was sentenced for the DUI. Defendant denies she was driving, she says she was charged for leaving the scene of the accident; they decided to help plaintiff out with the bills only. Judge is not believing the defendants. A very upset judge ruled in favor of the plaintiff.
