Plaintiff is suing for the value of her property, $2500. Defendant is countersuing for a ring and for having plaintiffs belongings in her house, $400.
EPISODE DESCRIPTION
Parties are sisters. Plaintiff claims she left property at defendants house, defendant is holding it hostage, she says she owed defendant money but paid it all. Defendant claims she is not holding the property hostage, she told plaintiff to go to the a storage where she put her property, gave her the information but plaintiff did not go, plaintiff claims she did not give her the storage information. Defendant showed in court evidence that she still has all of plaintiffs belongings. Plaintiff showed a text message where defendant says she wont give her stuff back until she pays up what she owes her. Counterclaim: Ring that belonged to their mother, plaintiff claims defendant gave it to her now wants it back. Ruling: Plaintiff to pay for the storage in order to have access to her things. Parties agreed that plaintiff will return the ring to defendant. Plaintiff can go and get her stuff out of defendants apartment.
